Six Senses Resorts Endorsed by Readers of Condé Nast Traveler

The much awaited and much revered Conde Nast Traveler’s 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards are in. Six Senses is thrilled to have received recognition for numerous resorts covering different regions, especially as it was the result of voting by the publication’s print and online readers; and guests who have experienced the Six Senses resorts and spas first hand.

Six of the brand’s resorts were included in top 20 listing:

Six Senses Douro Valley, Portugal - #2 World – Destination Spa Resorts

A beautifully renovated and reimagined 19th-century manor house overlooking the vine-covered countryside of the Douro Valley and the river below. From dreamily-designed and furnished rooms and suites, to the expansive spa, fine and wholesome wining and dining, organic gardens and nature trails, this is where well-being meets pure joy.

Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman - #3 Middle East – Resorts

Nestled on Oman’s dramatic Musandam Peninsula, between rugged mountains and vibrant emerald waters. The village-inspired resort offers a range of accommodations, each with a private pool, traditional summer house and the time and space to find yourself. There’s eclectic dining, an award-winning spa and a cornucopia of unique experiences.

Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali - #3 Asia – Indonesia – Resorts

Set on the cliffs at the southernmost tip of Bali sharing views with Pura Uluwatu, the sacred temple considered one of the island’s core spiritual pillars. Here, tradition mixes with beautiful beaches, great surf breaks and an eclectic wellness and dining scene. And uninterrupted ocean views from every aspect.

Six Senses Yao Noi, Thailand - #8 Asia – Resorts

Phang Nga Bay, one of the world’s most spectacular seascapes, sets the stage for a magical stay on Koh Yao Noi. A short water-trip from Phuket, this Six Senses island resort is as close to nature’s luxury as you can be. The resort is not just green, but every shade of blue too.
It's Thailand reimagined.

Six Senses Bhutan - #17 Asia – Resorts

Six Senses Bhutan will move you – to pause and think. The best way to discover the heritage and hospitality of this colorful Himalayan Kingdom is to journey through it. The architecture and design of each lodge reflects a particular aspect of Bhutan, offering guests new perspectives along their tour through the five valleys.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon, Seychelles - #9 Indian Ocean – Resorts

A private and secluded tropical nirvana that celebrates life with a host of exceptional pursuits. Occupying less than a third of the total island, Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the sole resort on Félicité. Considered as one of the satellites of La Digue, the island offers the ultimate island-hopping experience.

Announcing the awards, Jesse Ashlock, U.S. editor of Condé Nast Traveler said, “The results of this year’s survey, conducted at the start of the current pandemic, are a testament to the lasting power of a meaningful travel experience. The winners represent the best of the best for our audience and offer plenty of trip-planning inspiration for all the adventures we can’t wait to have next.”
The Condé Nast Reader’s Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler’s website and featured in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler US and UK print editions.
