January 19, 2023 - Pick from many elegant settings and charismatic locations for your formal or more out-of-the-ordinary celebrations at Six Senses Fort Barwara. With high sustainability standards, spacious suites, and considerate hosts, you’ll want for nothing.
At Six Senses Fort Barwara, we tailor-make your event or meeting to bring your dreams to life and provide an unforgettable experience. Whether it is a milestone celebration, intimate wedding, formal gathering, or private retreat, gather your loved ones at our event spaces in India for international and Rajasthani farm-to-table cuisine, relaxing spa treatments, and a host of tailor-made experiences.
Opulent enough for any royal occasion and mindful of the fort's original beauty, we offer a variety of indoor and outdoor settings for intimate events. Our hosts remain on hand to customize and curate a special event venue for you with creative menus and experiences.
Six Senses Fort Barwara reflects the heritage of the Barwara community as it has unfolded over generations, and sustainability ensures that future generations will enjoy it too. The 700-year-old palace and temples have been responsibly restored using traditional building techniques used in Rajasthan, sensitively incorporating efficient design elements such as rainwater collection tanks and solar panels to complement rather than detract from the beautiful and historic architecture.
When booking your event, we can guide you on a more conscious and mindful choice of celebration. For example, help us on our journey to plastic freedom by using alternative eco-friendly products and biodegradable materials. Our innovation knows no bounds and we can incorporate everything from flowers, jute, and plantain leaf, to biodegradable confetti, rice paper and lanterns, compostable cups, and ceramics to reduce the hazardous footprint created by plastics and its derivatives.
Where possible our food is grown in, not flown in, with dedicated areas for organic gardens, edible flowers, growing beds, and a mushroom hut. Our spa garden offers a variety of medicinal plants and natural remedies grown using compost sourced on site. We also make it a point to work closely with artisans and suppliers living nearby to incorporate local produce and support community employment.
Why not incorporate local experiences into your celebration? Mountain hiking, culture walks to Chauth ka Barwara Temple, or a nature ramble to see our rewilding project adjacent to the fort are all opportunities to understand how we are conserving what we love and continuing to develop our sustainability story.
